Shipping, Handling, and Payment Terms

Shipping and Import Compliance

At Swedish Candy Wholesale, we serve both U.S. and international customers with flexible shipping options. Smaller orders are shipped from our Kansas City warehouse for faster U.S. delivery, while larger pallet shipments and select products ship directly from Sweden. Some products are only available in Sweden and will be shipped directly from our Swedish facility. By placing an order, you confirm that all purchased products comply with applicable U.S. federal and state laws, including import regulations and food safety standards. For international customers, we ensure full compliance with global shipping requirements when shipped directly from Sweden. If you export or redistribute our products independently, you assume full responsibility for complying with the import laws, duties, tariffs, and restrictions of the destination country. Swedish Candy Wholesale is not liable for any legal issues related to international resale or distribution outside our direct shipping services.

Shipping Services and Costs

For U.S. Orders:
If paying by invoice, shipping costs will be added to the invoice based on the most cost-effective shipping option available from leading U.S. carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and Ground Services. We compare rates among these carriers to secure the best price for your order size and destination.
If paying by card, shipping costs will be calculated automatically at checkout.

For International Orders and Pallet Shipments:
For larger pallet shipments or international orders shipping directly from Sweden, shipping charges will be calculated separately and added to the invoice based on freight rates. We will notify you of the shipping cost in advance before finalizing the invoice. If you can secure more favorable shipping rates independently, you are welcome to arrange your own freight. Please notify us in advance if you plan to do so.

Handling Fee: A flat handling fee of $10.00 will be applied to each order to cover packaging and handling. Some products may be repackaged into resealable bags for better protection during shipping. We also use reinforced shipping boxes and eco-friendly, water-soluble packing peanuts to ensure safe delivery while reducing packaging waste.

Lower Prices for pallet orders: Orders shipped from Sweden on pallets can receive significantly lower pricing, with rates as low as $3.00 per kg (approximately $1.36 per pound). This price reduction is possible due to optimized shipping logistics and larger volume handling. Contact us for a custom quote if you’re considering a pallet shipment from Sweden.

Payment Terms

You can choose between two payment options:
Invoice Payment (Standard): Payment is made via invoice with a 7-day payment term from the date the invoice is issued. The total amount, including shipping costs, will be clearly stated on the invoice.
Card Payment: If you choose to pay by debit or credit card, you will be directed to our checkout page where shipping costs will be calculated automatically. A 3.1% processing fee will be added to the total amount to cover transaction costs.

For larger pallet shipments, we may require either a 50/50 payment split (50% upfront and 50% before shipment) or full advance payment, depending on the order size and shipping terms.

Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • Quality Issues: If you receive a product with quality concerns, please contact us immediately for return authorization.
  • Shipping Damages: If products are damaged in transit, report the issue within 48 hours of delivery, including photos of the damage and a signed Bill of Lading noting the damages.
  • Incorrect Items: If an incorrect item is shipped, we will send the correct product at no extra charge if available. If the product is out of stock, we will issue a refund or credit for future purchases.

Return Process: All returns require prior authorization and must be shipped back within 48 hours of approval. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Credit will be issued only for the value of the affected product, not shipping costs, unless the error was on our part.
Non-Returnable Items: Perishable goods, items damaged due to mishandling after delivery, and products not in their original, unused condition are not eligible for return.

Limitations of Liability

Our liability is strictly limited to either replacing the product or issuing a credit for the value of the affected item. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from shipping delays, product defects, or regulatory issues.
